Although hardy, they can withstand temperatures to -12 degrees C, these trees need a sunny location to reward you with fruit between June and August. They will grow between 3-9 metres but you can maintain them at your desired height by trimming.
They prefer well drained soil and will need regular watering until established and then occasional deep watering during the summer.
