These plants have had a variety of uses over the years from bowel regulatory fruit to primitive lingerie.
Although hardy, they can withstand temperatures to -12 degrees C, these trees need a sunny location to reward you with fruit between June and August. They will grow between 3-9 metres but you can maintain them at your desired height by trimming.
They will need regular watering until established and then occasional deep watering during in the summer.
