Trachycarpus Fortuneii Chusan Palm is a totally frost hardy palm down to -17deg C, They will grow up to 25 feet high in UK.
Produces long deep green fronds on top of a sturdy trunk that make this palm a focal point for any garden large or small.
Prefers a well drained site in either sun or shade, but out of very strong winds. Chamaerops Humilis or Cordyline Australis are a good alternative if you have a very windy spot.
Does not need wrapping up in winter.
Can be grown in a large pot.
