Striking blue/grey colour makes this hardy palm stand out from the crowd. Likely to reach approximately 12 feet (4 metres) in U.K. This palm is hardy down to -10 degrees centigrade if given the right conditions.

Brahea Armata is indigenous to Mexico and is therefore used to dry conditions. Excessive damp is likely to cause more problems than extreme cold. Very well drained soil is therefore essential. Can also be grown very successfully in a pot. Requires full sun out of strong winds.
