Black Bamboo Phyllostachys Nigra
10 feet high including height of pot. Famous black caned bamboo which fits into any garden either modern or traditional. This bamboo produces canes which go black in their third year, beautifully offset by deep green foliage.
Can be planted in full sun or partial shade but needs a lot of water in the first year to get it off to a good start.
Can be used as a screen, but looks great if grown a s a specimen plant in a large pot.
Hardy down to minus 18 deg C.
